Veteran Employment
Gainful employment can be a crucial first step to transforming a Veteran’s life.Our end game is to find meaningful full-time employment for Veterans who need our help. Thornton & Associates Veteran Services assist Veterans in finding employment opportunities.
Veteran Counseling
Veterans transitioning into civilian life often experience great difficulty and stress during their adjustment. Many times, those difficulties are due to combat-related traumatic events which, if left untreated, could cause serious obstacles to stability and prosperity in civilian life. Thornton & Associates Veteran Services provide counseling and mental health services to assist Veterans in their transition as well as ongoing counseling services.
Veteran Career Development
We provide Veterans with career preparation, train them with new job skills and offer free counseling on how to search for employment, write a resume, hone interview skills and more.
Veteran Housing Services
Through public housing authorities, HUD provides rental assistance vouchers for privately owned housing to Veterans who are experiencing homelessness. Thornton & Associates Veteran Services assist Veterans through the process to obtain housing.

¨Starting and staying on the road to recovery can be a challenge. An addiction to drugs or alcohol is not easily overcome and recovery often requires constant vigilance as you practice and strengthen the coping skills you learned in treatment. Thornton & Associates Veteran Services who collaborates with Elijah's House Treatment Center, Pasadena, is an excellent place for recovery. The staff is excellent, very helpful for all your needs, guiding you into sobriety. The counselors are great. Jennifer and David are such knowledgeable counselors. They helped me through a lot and still continue to help me through this as an out patient. Amy and nurses are great. They’re on top of things. Then you have Pam and Jasmine, such great people. They are there for you in any way they can or any situation. You can always count on them. And, then you got Sena. She is kind of a big deal there LOL. An amazing person helps you in anyway she can, which is great. Elijah’s house is amazing! I would strongly recommend it to anybody that needs help to getting clean and sober.¨
